CHANGES WITHIN THE FIRM
MESSAGE FROM THE SENIOR PARTNER
I am pleased to announce that we have made changes in the firm’s partnership structure with effect from Wednesday, 28th August 2019.
The Corporate/Commercial Department will now be headed by Peter Hime and Sammy Wainaina, with Mergers and Acquisitions being overseen by Sarah Kiarie-Muia and Joseph Ng’ang’ira.
Peter Hime and Patrick Ikimire remain in the Intellectual Property space. Rachel Mbai (whose docket also includes Private Client work) continues to give leadership to the Real Estate work, with Nyakio Manga and Carol Etyang.
Kenneth Kamaitha and Ruth Kirunga continue in Projects, Banking and Finance, while Aircraft Leasing will continue to be handled by Peter Hime and Ruth Kirunga.
Nigel Shaw, Binti Shah, Mahesh Acharya and Amar Grewal-Thethy have retired from the firm.
K&S is a full-service firm, with a Litigation/ Conflict Resolution Department consisting of Fred Ojiambo, Peter Gachuhi, Nazima Malik, Esther Kinyenje-Opiyo, Cosima Wetende, James Muthui, and Peter Njeru.
