Elizabeth Onyango's Bio
Elizabeth is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya admitted to the bar in December 2014.
Her main area of practice is civil litigation involving banking and related commercial transactions, construction disputes, employment law, insurance law, medical negligence, family law and general commercial disputes.
Elizabeth handles matters at the Court of Appeal, High Court, Subordinate Courts and Statutory Tribunals.

EXPERIENCE
- Successfully defended a multinational corporation against a high value and complex class action product liability claim.
- Successfully represented a multinational Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor and power developer in a high value construction dispute, which dispute was determined in favour of the client by way of an-hoc arbitration.
- Part of the team that successfully defended a Constitutional Petition where the constitutionality of section 62 of the Kenya Ports Authority Act was challenged as allegedly being unconstitutional and invalid, a point that had not been decided by the Kenyan High Court before.
- Successfully defended an American multinational conglomerate in a highly disputed employment claim involving aspects of international contracts of employment.
